• Oven Bottoms
You may have heard that lining the bottom of your oven with aluminum foil is a great way to catch any spills from your cooking but STOP. This will crack the enamel on the bottom of your oven because the foil reflects the heat back onto the base. If you want to protect the bottom of your oven between cleans you can buy purposely designed oven liners made from PTFE* with a Teflon coating available from us @ £10 each alternatively all good kitchen stores.
• Aga Hotplate Lids
When boiling your kettle, turn the spout to face the open lid so that the steam hits the lid as the kettle boils. This makes it easier to wipe off residue on the hotplate lids.
